The new unbreakable Suzuki
off-road beast RM-Z450

Engine Features

The 18-pin magneto intelligent rotor senses feedback on crankshaft position, rotation speed and stroke which is cleverly fed back to the ECU to calculate optimum injection and ignition timings and you know that means POWER. It is equipped with a 5-Speed Transmission which makes RM-Z450 versatile for various terrain conditions and features a link type shifting mechanism. One incredible feature is that the cross machine is supplied with so intelligent magneto which provides enough electricity for everything even for the fuel injection system and therefore is "Battery-less". Suzuki call that "single-phase all-charging system". The combustion chamber is specially designed for strong low-to-mid range response as well as top-end pull.  Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) offers better roll on power and strong low-to-mid range power. KEIHIN throttle body specifically designed for motocross. Fuel is delivered via an internal fuel pump which yet again is a battery-less system thanks to the clever japanese engineers.

KEIHIN fuel pump located inside the fuel tank provides stable pressure delivery to operate the fuel injection system even if you are trying to copy Travis Pastrana, this thing will suck petrol and never let you down. (Well done Japanese fellows). Semi-dry-sump lubrication system includes separate oil chambers for the transmission and crankshaft using the transmission as the oil sump, allowing low crankshaft placement, reduced engine height and a low center of gravity so that way you could be more flexible and eased to do your tricks and stunts.

Chassis Features

2-tone molded-plastic radiator shrouds give the RM-Z450 a slim feel and stylish look for 2010 while also pretending to show some new graphics design which I don't think is much different but is though very nice typical suzuki cross yelow. Supported with aluminum fuel tank houses a KEIHIN fuel pump for optimum performance, unbreakability and a factory bike look. It also has aluminum-alloy swingarm and aluminum-alloy twin spar frame so to be as lightweight as it could and has optimum rigidity balance for incredibly agile handling and uncommon performance over bumps. The bike has improved intake both from the sides and the front which is viral for the throttle responce. Gold-colored chain and axle blocks give a full factory look that I consider really boring and Modification friendly. Hot start lever is located on the right hand side of the handlebar for easy operation while holding the clutch. Race inspired brake rotors provide better cooling performance and increased mud deflection in muddy conditions. Showa front fork is fully adjustable for rebound, compression and preload settings and yet again very lightweight with improved shock absorption, showa rear shock absorber.
Specs

The bike's curb (with all liquids) weight is 112 kg (247 lbs). The fuel tank capacity is 6.2 L (1.6 US gal) and the bike has a kickstarter like all cross bikes.
